Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Outpatient Primary Care)

About the role

Rosebud IHS Hospital serves the Rosebud Sioux Tribe in south-central South Dakota. CallAlli is staffing two full-time Advanced Practice Providers for the hospital's Outpatient Department clinic. Positions depend on CallAlli's award of IHS RFQ 75H70627Q00018. We are lining up committed providers now for a February 1, 2027 start, for a 12-month period of performance.

What you’ll do

• Provide outpatient primary care to adults and children in the hospital's Outpatient Department clinic.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications within scope of license, including controlled substances with DEA registration.
• Document care in the IHS electronic health record and coordinate referrals.
• Work alongside IHS physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and behavioral health staff.

What you need

• NP: current national certification (e.g., FNP or AGNP) from ANCC or AANPCB.
• PA: current PA-C certification from NCCPA.
• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license from any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification (plus ACLS/PALS if required by the facility).
• Ability to complete federal credentialing, privileging, and a background investigation.

Nice to have

• Primary care experience in a rural, tribal, or Indian Health Service setting.
