Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

Boxelder Job Corps Center is a federal job-training campus for young adults in the Black Hills. CallAlli is staffing a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver primary care at the center's on-site clinic one weekday per week, working alongside the center's wellness staff and counselors.

What you’ll do

• Deliver primary care to students ages 16–24 during scheduled clinic days.
• Perform intake physicals for new students and build individual treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat acute illness, manage chronic conditions, and provide family planning support.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, within scope of license.
• Coordinate outside referrals and maintain confidential health records.
• Provide a brief monthly health summary to center leadership.
• Collaborate with wellness staff and counselors and attend team meetings as requested.

What you need

• Active, unrestricted South Dakota NP or PA license.
• South Dakota DEA registration including Schedule II.
• Professional liability (malpractice) coverage of at least $1 million, or ability to obtain it.
• NPs: 1,040 practice hours or a collaborative agreement.
• PAs: NCCPA certification with the South Dakota collaborative agreement exemption on file (6,000+ practice hours).
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice to have

• Experience serving disadvantaged young adults (ages 16–24).
• Background in adolescent health, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment.
